Avery Stained Glass

This piece was completed in 2013, but I never was able to capture a really good photo of it due to what times of day I have access to a camera. It really needs to perfect lighting to show off the colors, and even so, I still had to run it through photoshop to fully show off how it looks in real life; it's also on very delicate paper, so if you hold it up to the light, it shines through and makes it really bright just like real stained glass I wanted this piece to also emulate that effect, because that proved impossible to photograph correctly -.-

This was actually the first stained glass piece I completed. I originally got the idea from the LoZ: Wind Waker stained glass artwork, and I did this one as a test to see how they would turn out; since I mostly wanted to test the coloring, I copied one of Links poses (just flipped, since Link is left-handed and Avery's not). Because I copied the pose, I was never sure whether or not I should upload this, but after going back to it again, I couldn't resist. I still really like this either way.

So, a little about Avery, and about these stained glass pieces: they are supposed to correlate with the element of the character represented in them. So for this one, the main themes are vines and flowers (for Avery's Forest element) and ice (for his Ice element). Each piece will continue with that pattern as well. Should be interesting!

I have another completed stained glass piece of Garizole (see below), and one more that I started two years ago, but didn't have the right colored markers so I put it on hold. Hopefully I'll get to it one of these days (As of 2016, I now have the right markers and genuinely hope I'll get back to working on it!).
