Alyssa: Light Element

Last weekend I got into a mood where I really wanted to draw something based on the style of Magic Knight Rayearth, and so I decided I’d draw a series of Forest characters that way with the emphasis on their magical element. I looked through a bunch of official Rayearth artwork to get inspiration and one of the pictures immediately made me think of Alyssa, so I just went with it. So here she is, anime style!

Basic Process: Started off fully traditional with prismacolor/copic markers only, but didn't have the right colors so had to put it through photoshop, which is where I did the background and the glow effects.
